bobyamee Posted January 16, 2012 Author Share Posted January 16, 2012 ahh i think we misunderstand eac other, i have a contact there, but the real problem is that if someone on my website go to "contact" to send a message to me, then they cant chose a "subject" for example if they want to ask me about an order then they should be able to chose "order" and then write the order id and the message . maconl Posted January 16, 2012 Share Posted January 16, 2012 hi , nopes i did understand you i know what you ment and as abouve in post #4 click on on of the contacts you can see if you don't see any contact then add new you see title , this will be the "subject" email , fill in the email adres where it has to go (your email address ) if you choose for save it showas also the messages in your customers tab Description is as sample " contact our customer service " the visitors see then on your contactpage the subjects you added there Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

pepperr Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 HI! I have similar problem with custom service and webmaster emails. I have transfered the shop from one to other domain, set some options in phpmyadmin so it could work corectly on the new domain. Now the problem is that when customers write question in the contact us form, I only recieve the message inside the back office, but not in the inbox of the email that I have set for webmaster and customers service under the Employees-->Contact Tab. It is strange beacouse i use presta on 4 different domains and other 3 work perfectly. Can some one give my a direction where i can find what the problem is, i need badly to set those e-mail option. Hi better to place this in a new post cause it's different then the problem what the poster had ,, this is also i think why forum members not replied to this one ,, but ok ,, i think it is still in your database , can you create an backup from this on ,, open this in an editor , you will see somewhere the email adresses , are they correct ? also have you changed your config ? also did you change the email in email allerts ? modules ---> email allerts Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
