tomerg3
Your cart.php is returning error 500 http://screencast.com/t/0c0WlbdqCQ8 I have so far seen it related to geo location, or a 3rd party override file that is causing the error, did you install any modules recently, or was it like this always? What version of PS do you use?
Mike Kranzler
Hi Jane, Another common source of this error is if your server is missing the PHP mbstring module. You can see a discussion on this here, but the easiest thing to do would probably be to call your hosting provider and ask them to enable the PHP mbstring module. I hope this helps. -Mike
Funky Bees
I did not install any modules recently. I'm using the latest PS version. I will try the way that mike suggest!! Thanks

Funky Bees
Hello Mike I have called my hosting provider to enable the PHP mbstring module, but is still not work! and i also try to reinstall the blockcart........ :(still no work !! Should i reinstall the whole prestashop version one more time ??? Jane
tomerg3
It's not likely mb_string missing, as that would show in the firebug console... See my previous post (#8) for more possible reasons, the best thing would be to check the main error log on your server (which you can do from cpanel). You should try to add to cart again, (or just visit the page, as the error occurs when you just visit it too), and then check the log to see the full error (error 500 is a generic error). Let us know what the error log says
Funky Bees
This is the msg from the log said: *ERROR* 2011/12/04 - 16:06:29: PHP error: /* PHP:add_module_to_hook(authorizeaim, header); */ *ERROR* 2011/12/04 - 16:06:29: Is this bcos I hv added a module?? I hv uninstall the blockheader immediately. but.....
tomerg3
Do you have "authorizeaim" module enabled? if so, try to disable it (although I don't think it is related, there may be another error)
Funky Bees
I dun have the "authorizeaim" module install!! :wacko:Should I reinstall the whole ps version ??
tomerg3
I would start with trying to fix just this issue and not reinstall Prestashop. You should try to make sure you have the original authorizeaim module. If you still have this error with the original module, you can try to either Report a bug about it (and wait for the PS team to investigate), Try to create a new installation of PS and move over the products / customers / orders... Get a different Authorize.net module.
easymfor
I had the same problem. Just enter the cartblock configuration, disable ajax cart, and then enable it back. Hope it will hep you.
