stopshop
Hi, I would like to know if anyone can assist with the following; I was using PS version 1.0.0.4 but started having problems, everytime I edited any product's description and then saved it, all products would disappear from the front end as well as the back office. So I decided to move onto the latest version 1.4.6.2, I tried updating my current version by meticulously following these steps which failed due to a TAX_ID Field error (http://doc.prestasho...ting+PrestaShop). Now, I simply installed a fresh installation as well as my recently purchased template (http://addons.presta...72-rcseats.html). My only problem that I have now is that I need to import my database (in sql format, not zip) that I downloaded so that I can have all orders, products, categories, customers etc.. in the new PS in the same way as these were in my previous PS. If you are able to assist and perform this work, could you please let me know how much you would charge and how long it would take (approximately)? Thanx, Claude
maconl
Hi , i suggest when you have time , make an Database back up from the new prestashop ,, the old one you got already use Winmerge http://winmerge.org/ with this programm you can compare and see the difference between the two files (Database files) and an easy way to see if there is any difference and what kind difference and you can add from one file to the other file hope this will work for you
