PrestaShop 1.4.5.1 My store is taxing the shipping not the product?

My store for some strange reason is no longer charging tax on the products. It is however chargeing tax on my shipping to the state of Maryland in the USA.

 

How in the heck does something like this happen? Im not even sure where to begin looking for a problem.

I wanted to add some more info for this bug.

 

I only have one carrier and thats the USPS. It is manualy configured by the weight of the products and also set up to use all 8 shipping zones of the USPS. I only ship to the US and my whole store is set up to sell products by the gram. I have never used pounds in the store since its install which was 1.2.5. All the upgrades have gone well over the years. I have never had a problem before.

 

The tax has always worked like it should because I'm based in Maryland. Somehow presta started charging tax on my shipping and not my product purchased by my customers in Maryland.

 

My shipping looks like this... It has worked flawless for years! I just wish I had I idea where to start looking.

I know prestashop does not support (grams) and honestly I can't see how having the shop set to grams would play into this but there it is.

 

Please can anyone throw out any ideas where to start looking for the issue???

Bump to the top... Somebody has to have an idea. What could cause presta to charge tax on the shipping and not the product?

 

Do I half to build another site to get rid of this crazy issue? Man...
