Copy of prestashop that links to the old one, help please.

Hi,

 

I have one installation of PS that I want to duplicate, then make a copy to other place.

The problem is that the new one links to the old one.

What I have done is this:

 

1. Copy of the files into the new folder

2. Copy of the DB and export to a new DB with new user with privileges

3. I've configure the new /config/settings.inc.php

 

DB_NAME : new BD name

DB_USER : new user with privileges

DB_PASS :new pass

DB_PS_BASE_URI : I've tried "/" "/nameofthefolder/" etc

 

4. Open 777 to required files and folders

 

This usually works for me, but before every copy I've done was on the same folder.

 

Now the outcome is a link to the old folder, how can I delete this link to the old folder and keep the new copy free?.

where is the link to the old folder? i mean to say, is there an image or link on your home page, that when you click on it, it brings you to the old site?
