Default Theme>>Product Page>>More Details Button

While using the default theme, on the product page, when you click on "More details", the page scrolls down to the More Details section of the page. In my opinion, that sliding effect is way cool.

I want to utilize that same effect in a different fashion. I want to put a button or link on the bottom of the products page to scroll back to the top of the page the same way it scrolls down. Actually, i want to be able to put this on just about every page of my site, but i just need to know how to do it in general. I'm smart enough to figure out how to do it on all the different pages.

Does anyone know the steps to how I could accomplish this?
