mobilewardley
Hi there, I have three issues which I think are related. In PS 1.4.5 categories display in the back office and in the categories list on left hand side of website as follows: Home Cat 1 - Sub cat 1 Cat 2 Cat 3 etc.... However - when Sub cat 1 is selected, the resulting breadcrumb trail at top of page displays this Home > Cat 1 > PRODUCT NAME! > Sub cat 1 When I click on the PRODUCT NAME in the breadcrumb trail a new page with no products is displayed. Easy you say, just delete it, but the PRODUCT NAME category does NOT appear in the back office in the list of editable categories or subcategories, so I cannot simply delete there. How do I get rid of this another way? I tried to make this category ID inactive in the PS_Category DB table but that doesn't get rid of it or change the breadcrumb trail. Any suggestions. Next the "Current Category" links bar at top of page in back office called "Home" is labelled as the name of a different product. How do I rename this to be called HOME again? Thirdly, I notice that in the table PS-Category_Group it shows a warning "Unique and Index keys should not both be set for column 'id_category. Attached image of Database error. I really don't know where to go from here. Any help greatly appreciated.
phrasespot
t shows a warning "Unique and Index keys should not both be set for column 'id_category. I don't know about 1 and 2 (and they're unlikely to be due to 3; I have a 1.4.5 with the same problem but no breadcrumbs issue). Easy you say, just delete it On the contrary I would say don't touch it before understanding why the issue is happening. You don't want to go around your DB, changing things randomly in the hope it will cure some problem you're having. You say "category does NOT appear in the back office" but then "I tried to make this category ID inactive in the PS_Category DB table" so it does appear in category table? 3 is fixed on a later version
