Mike Kranzler
Hi Didszzz, I just took a look at this for you, and everything looks fine on my end: Is that the image you weren't seeing? -Mike
dibs223
Has you can see there is no image in the box!
Mike Kranzler
Has you can see there is no image in the box! Are you adding images to the subcategory or to the product itself? The circled missing image must be added to the reyrere product itself, not the Great Harwood Shops subcategory. -Mike

Mike Kranzler
is there no other way you can resolve this? Without taking a look at your Back Office I may not be able to identify what is causing this issue. I understand if you're not comfortable doing so, but in that case you will need to search the forums for other users who may be having this same issue and try the suggestions posted there. -Mike
dibs223
let me know if you need more permissions f things! thanks for this help!
Mike Kranzler
let me know if you need more permissions f things! thanks for this help! Yes, unfortunately I will need more permissions in order to properly look into this. Can you please temporarily grant this profile full permissions? It is more difficult because you are running such an old version of our software, so I need to make sure I have access to everything to try to identify the root cause of this issue. -Mike
dibs223
I hope you can help me out now! Wish i could upgrade my software but too scared to do it with changing that many files lol :-)

jhnstcks
Are the permissions correct for the img folder and sub folders on your server? If they aren't correct images won't be able to be saved when you upload them.
Mike Kranzler
In addition to jhnstcks' question, can you please also switch back to the default theme? Sometimes, these sorts of issues are caused by a custom theme that is not completely compatible, and there are definitely a few spots on your site that look like they are clashing with your theme right now. -Mike
dibs223
I cannot do that ive created this site on my own :-( It was working before and nothings changed so I havnt a clue whats gone wrong with it :-( 6 months of hard work down the tube now :-(
Mike Kranzler
Hi Didszzz, What do you mean when you say you cannot do that? If you've created this site on your own, you should be able to check the permissions of your site via FTP, and you can easily switch the theme temporarily in your Back Office under Modules > Themes. -Mike
dibs223
I changed a lot of files 12 months ago and I cannot remember how i did it all :-( I need to start figuring again. Ive checked Cmod and its ok permissions are 755! Where do the pictures go when they are uploaded? Database folders name and folders name if u can help me on this first. Then I need the process of what you said to backup what i have then change the theme, but Im a noob on this stuff. I was taught at university to create web pages from the start not from a pre program! Ive documented alot of my work but like O said I dont know whats happened to it in the 12 months! wish I know lol

All the configuration information for your existing information will be retained within that theme. See a quick screencast here. I hope this helps. -Mike
dibs223
I dont see a Back Office under Modules > Themes. in my setting!
Mike Kranzler
I dont see a Back Office under Modules > Themes. in my setting! The Back Office is the same thing as your control panel or whatever you consider the first page when you log into the Admin panel. Just click on the link I posted above to see how to get to that area. -Mike
dibs223
Ive got to that area but their is no Themes in there!
Mike Kranzler
Hi Didszzz, I apologize, your version is several years old, so I was directing you to the wrong area for this feature. You can actually find it in your version under Preferences > Appearance, but I cannot urge you strongly enough to upgrade your site, as your version is nearly two years old. Additionally, until you upgrade to a newer version (1.3 is the bare minimum, but we're at 1.4.6 now preparing for a major release with 1.5), you will not be able to take advantage of our experimental AutoUpgrade module for future releases to simplify the process. I know you're concerned about losing your data, but I would be happy to set you up with our development team to help you out with that if you're interested. -Mike
