Completely Stumped

First time poster here.

 

I've made prestashop themes for business ideas I had that never surfaced so I am not new to prestashop. However, I recently got hosting and I am currently working on starting a new business but for some reason when I try to edit the .tpl files nothing is changing for example, I changed the title of the shopping cart to "roody doo doo doo doo" (no reason just babble) to see if it would change (after attempting to change multiple other things to no avail). At first I thought it was just me doing something wrong but now I feel like something isn't right with the installation perhaps.

The above screenshot is the shopping-cart.tpl file in the theme folder that I am working with I've double and triple checked to make sure.

Wow figured it out, didn't think googeling "Prestashop theme files not editing" would actually work. My bad.

assume you located the performance setting force compile

 

also, you should invest in a more advanced text editor, notepad is pretty terrible
