eptx
What is the difference between the module that comes with 1.4.6.2 and a paid module? Why doesn't the included module for Authorize.net not work? Is there no QA before a version is released?
Carolina Custom Designs
The included module for Authorize.net does work. I've used it several times for clients. Marty Shue
eptx
Thanks for your reply. I have another post about Authorize.net on this page and I am told there are no defines in the latest config.php page for Authorize.net, did you have to modify anything to get it to work? pmfjoe
At least in version 1.4 the included module does work out of the box in my experience. But I choose to use the Presto-Changeo module because it offers features the included one does not. The included module is very bare bones, it takes the payment and that is it. I prefer Presto's module because it does other things including supporting more than just AIM, also it records the transaction ID and last 4 of the CC number with the order making it easier to cross reference when you have alot of orders. Carolina Custom Designs
No, I didn't have to modify anything to get it to work. I do, however, agree with pmfjoe regarding Tomer's Authorize.net module. I've used it as well and found it to be very good. Both will work quite well -- one is free and the other you have to buy.
