Friendly Url Works Partially

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I enabled Friendly URL on the preferences, and then regenerated the .htaccess file on the tools.

The shop links are now url friendly as supposed, but not all of them work properly. It happens that some of it redirect to /page-not-found. This problem seems to occur in some modules only.

For example, all products and categories links seem to work alright, shopping cart also works, but the links on the Information module and the link on the Our Stores module redirect to /page-not-found. These links work well if I turn the Friendly URL setting off.

How can I solve this?

Thank you.

Hi there.

The links not working are mostly from the Information module, which links are CMS pages. These links aren't configured on the Preferences->SEO and aren't supposed to. The friendly url for the CMS pages are defined on each CMS page configuration. I checked and all pages have its friendly URL configured.

Here is the site: http://tpresta.scorebandit.com/

The odd thing is that one of the CMS pages works well, all the others don't. And I can't find any difference between them...

Example:

http://tpresta.scorebandit.com/content/5-secure-payment -> works well

http://tpresta.scorebandit.com/content/4-about-us -> doesn't work

Hello.

I haven't done anything to fix it. It was my browser causing it. Just tried other browser and worked fine. Cleaned this browser cache and now it works fine too.

It's odd how this happened. The browser was working fine before enabling friendly url; after enabling it, it kept working fine on all pages except the ones from CMS. The site must have redirected to /page-not-found the first time those pages were accessed after enabling friendly url, and it was keeping it on cache.

Thank you for the help. Everything seems to be working good now.
