My category is shiown as Home which is wrong. How do I delete this and put in the correct category?

My store is http://www.debtstowealth.com/store. There is an image there I want to get rid of.

Hi blanchard,

There is actually no need to delete "Home," you can just add your subcategories as you normally would and not worry about it. That just means that any subcategories will be available directly from your home page.

 

And I'm assuming you're looking to remove the iPod image, correct?

Do I put a general description of what the products are about? Then create sub categories for the two products with more specific information.

For the iPod image, you can change or remove that (and the text below it) in your Back Office in the Modules tab. Look for the Home Text Editor module, and click "Configure." You can see a demonstration here.

 

In your situation, I would create the subcategories with the basic information (for example, Subcategory 1 would be Shoes, and Subcategory 2 would be Hats). In the section below that, you'll see the option to "Add a new product." There you can add each product. For example, you could create a product for Boots, which you would assign to the subcategory Shoes as you are creating it.
