How To Integrate A Responsive/flexible Slider?

I'm trying to build a fully "responsive" prestashop website, but I'm encountering a problem with the carrousel. I started to build my theme using the Foundation framework, which was quite easy to integrate. So I tried to use the Orbit slider plugin available in the package, only to find it can't work: prestashop is using an earlier version of jQuery, and it's not compatible.

 

I don't think there's any responsive slider plugin available for prestashop (or I couldn't find it), so I'm trying to figure how to solve this out. Anybody would know a slider that could work with prestashop? Or any other suggestion? (Unfortunately, I'm not a developer, and have not the knowledge to write my own jQuery script... I know the responsive concept is quite young, and a lot of things are still to be done)

You could try using the newer version of jQuery for Pretashop too, not only the slider.

The newer version is jQuery 1.4.4? I updated it using an automatic update module, but it doesn't work either with the sliders I found. Theses sliders are quite up to date with jQuery and up to the 1.6 version already...

 

Anybody would know one working with jQuery 1.4.4?
