Adding Background Image

I am attempting to add a background image to my site. Here is what I put into the css

background-image: url(‘themes/free2/img/blue_to_gray.jpg’);
background-color: blue;
font-size: 12px
font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, Sans-Serif;
color: #5d717e;
text-align: center
}

Please help

Hey chrs,

Just remove the line --->

background-color: blue;

 

and also update the line --->

text-align: left;
