Shopping Cart Countries

Hi All:

 

Ok here is my next question, In my online shop when I put an item in my cart and click on Cart in the Estimate your shipping & taxes area the drop down list contains all countries.

How can I change this to only show United States and Canada.

Actually I think I figured this one out too, you have to delete all countries from the database.

I have made alot of changes since my last backup, after the next backup I will give that a try.

You can just go to your admin-->preference-->geolocation. Then you can delete countries you don't want.

i would not delete the countries, instead just disable them.

 

using geolocation will attempt to prevent users that have ip addresses in those countries. I'm not sure that is what you wanted?

to disable for things like customer registration and shipping go to admin -> shipping -> countries.

to disable for payments, go to admin -> Payment and uncheck those countries.
