Retail price discounts

has anyone found a way to show suggested retail price of products not the selling price we set.

I see alot of online shops that will show the retail price with a slash through it and then

OUR PRICE - 399.99.

The reason I ask is I want to have levels of users with different discounts but those discounts should be off retail price not the price I sell it for.

I have looked around at other shops that sell similar items, 1shop I get a 40% discount but not off what they sell it for once I loooked a little deeper I realized that my discount really amounts to 5%.

We just became the US distributer for Shepherd Micro Racing (rc nitro cars) I am in the process of creating our online store.
