daYmo
Hi, there's a bug in the new theme with the block category displayed in left or right column. As a matter of fact, where there are multi levels categories, the dynamic tree doesn't work. It's due to a css problem. Solution in the attached file which has to be put in the THEMES/YOUR_THEME/css/modules/blockcategories/ Bye blockcategories.css
Mike Kranzler
Hi daYmo, For security reasons, I am removing the file temporarily while our team takes a look at it and determines whether or not it can fix the issue you are discussing. Please send me an email at mike DOT kranzler AT prestashop DOT com with all the information you have on this bug (including a fresh version of the file) so that we can speed up the process on the development side. -Mike

Mike Kranzler
Hi daYmo, Can you please just PM me the file? For some reason it isn't in the folder where I saved it last night, and I would like to give our team an opportunity to quickly look it over before adding it back to your post. When it comes to complete files, it is important that we look at it first to validate the change, because the smallest issue in the file could potentially create issues for a large number of users who download it. Once we've had a chance to look it over, I will be happy to add it back to your post and give you credit, but first I would ask that you PM me the file so that we can get to work on it. -Mike
daYmo
, it is important that we look at it first to validate the change, because the smallest issue in the file could potentially create issues for a large number of users who download it. The new theme that actually is in "stable" version and that "a large number of users" are downloading contains this error... I'll send it to you but think it's a bit complicated just for a css fix ;-) There's also a bug with JQZOOM in the new version with the new theme... all the best
Mike Kranzler
Hi daYmo, I look forward to receiving it, and will pass it along to our dev team immediately. -Mike
Mike Kranzler
Hi daYmo, Thanks for sending me that file. We went through it and everything looks fine, so I've added it back to your original post. However, we're not sure about the specific bug this is intended to fix. Can you post a little more information on it, or a link to another discussion about this bug? This way, we can do some additional testing and potentially commit it via SVN for all new downloads. -Mike
daYmo
Alright, I'll add some more information quickly coz I have other dev to do... With the new theme, there's a new css file for the blockcategorie you can display on the left or right column. In my point of view, the guy that made the theme only tested it on the basic install that only has 1 level category. As a matter of fact, if you add a subcategory, active the blockcategory module and also activate the dynamic tree option of this module, you'll see that it's not dynamic and by clicking on the arrow (old [+] link) it doesn't open the tree but point directly to the category and load the page... It's due to padding / margin stuff in the css file. Prestashop should really make the dev with more data : products, categories, etc. so as to reflect reality and what it should be designed for. The dev can't be done with 3 main categories and some 5 products... coz you can't see performances problems, display problems, ergonomy stuff... regards, daYmo
