Shannon Cole
I created a voucher for $5.99 using "Discount on order". I used the voucher on the site but it's showing $5.70 instead of $5.99. Do anyone know what setting I might have wrong that's giving the wrong calculation. Take care, Shannon
Mike Kranzler
Hi Shannon, Can you please post a screenshot of your current voucher settings? -Mike
Shannon Cole
Sure... http://screencast.com/t/t12QqKYpi and http://screencast.com/t/FahVGMVy I have the coupon set to $6.30 right now so that it shows as $6.00 on the cart when added. I'm thinking it might be a miscalculation with taxes, but unsure. Shannon

Mike Kranzler
Hi Shannon, I just tried to replicate your voucher settings on a clean install, and your exact settings appeared to work perfectly fine for me. Can you please try switching your theme to the default theme temporarily to see if that may be causing you these issues? -Mike
Shannon Cole
I didn't think calculations were controlled by the theme. I'm thinking it might be something within my tax settings or product settings.
Mike Kranzler
Sometimes, the theme can have an impact on other areas, so we like to test it out, if only to exclude it as a possibility. It does appear that your store is charging tax on the voucher value itself, but I just wanted to confirm that it was not being affected by your theme first before looking more deeply into what appears to be the cause of the issue. -Mike
ShoeBabe
I am having same issue. With REGISTERED/Returning customers. Example: Client is logged in (account is created), place item in cart, then voucher, and the $20 Discount voucher calculates as $18.60. Now, If I log out from the account, and start fresh as a new client, without registering, select my item, add it to cart, then add voucher code, then the voucher will show correctly in the cart, for the total amount, on this case $20. My concern is that registered/returning customers will see a discrepancy on the discount amount.
