Hi to all, I'm new on this forum. Im the webmaster of the website

www.ortopediebaldinelli.it made with Presta Shop 1.3.7.

In this web site there are many products which you have to select the size.

It happened that some customers have bought the product without selecting the

size, buyng then the default it, and then claim the right of withdrawal for

incorrect purchase.

You think is possible to put on those products which the variable size is associated

a select empty with text "Select the size" that does not allow the purchase if selected?

Is there a way to do it? I spend a few days around this thing but I could not

find anything.

Thank you all for your help!

When the Javascript is disabled in the browser, havoc ensues at your site. Beside serious display problems, adding a product to cart becomes possible. Updating your installation from 1.3.7 may be a good idea, in latest version of PS you can specify a default size so even if no one touches the dropdown, specified default is added to the cart. The other thing you could do is, remove the Seleziona option from the dropdowns so there are only size options.

Hi there, everyone

I too am looking for a solution to the issue Cavras describes. It would be very useful to have an empty "please select" as the default, so it forces the user to make a choice.

My selection box initially shows the default size option and a number for the total amount in stock for all sizes. But it looks like that number relates to the default selection only.
