estipois
Hi! I'm trying to import products from CSV. Everything is fine except features. How should be features marked in CSV file? Somehow the sample files in backoffice are not downloadable. So I can not look into it. But should the features be separated with "," like images? But how to declare what is the feature name and value?
Optim'Informatique
Hello, To import features, you must have a different column for each feature : you can choose the feature name in the import interface. It is in french, but I have import file example on my site ( UTF-8 or ISO-8859-1) : http://www.optiminformatique.fr/prestashop/import/

Never would have figured it out without the directions. In Prestashop 4.1.6 Create your Features and the Options before importing (Catalog/features) Make a new column in your spreadsheet for each feature. Enter the values for each product or leave blank. During the import process, when you are mapping columns to Prestashop fields, pick "feature" from the drop down. Prestashop will give you a text box to type the name of the feature. Click "okay" when finished. Finish mapping your columns. Import. Magic. Shame on PrestaShop Apprentice for selling a module. At least put in a helpful answer and then offer the module as an alternative. Stock Prestashop importer is one of the best.
omar.bobo
Hi, It works, but the feature value is saved as custom value even that a selected value (that is one of the created value as defined by point 1). It's important when you'll translate in other language, infact you must change only the predefined feature values instead of every custom feature values.
