A strange problem with Free Text Block

Recommended Posts

hi,

im using ps 1.4.4.1

i have download the free addon "free text block"

i want to add my getresponse email list form to my site, so i thought to add the address of the javascript to the free text block , and it working just fine.

but, the strange thing is that when i done that it massed up the other ajax and javascripts.

for sample , when you pressed the add to cart button in a profuct page it do nothing.

in some product the thickbox was massed and didnt opened or didnt closed.

only when i disabled the free text block everything came back to order and worked.

what is the problem? is there a way to fix it?

any other advices how to transplant my getresponse email list form to left colum? without the free text block?

thank you !!!

hmm.. are you talking about the newsletter module ? If so, I'm pretty sure you can transplant it through back office.

If this is not what youre talking about, please give more info about this getresponse email list

no its not the news letter module.

this is the script i used in side the "free text block"

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://app.getresponse.com/view_webform.js?wid=132892"></script>

this is the addon:

Did you tried to integrate it directly into the .tpl file ? I think that will work, but it will appear under or above the hooked modules.

no i didnt tried it. i dont know how.

but i want it to appear as a block. with a "newsletter - special offer" title.

is ther any way to that?

if you want it to be at the bottom(below the other modules in the side column), the easiest way is to add it in the tpl. You can make it like a block, or whatever you want.

Otherwise, you'll have to make it like a module, and hook it into the left column( so you can arrange his possition through the backoffice).

I'll pm you with some more details
