Essex Dog Supplies
How do I remove "Remaining amount to be added to your cart in order to obtain free shipping" from the cart? It might be putting my customers off completing there purchase as the total price is usually put at the bottom of the screen and if only making a small purchase it looks like they are going to have to spend a fortune. I understand I can set "Free Shipping" in Shipping tab to '0' but then I can't offer free delivery!! Help please, thanks!
Dave L
I think this is because you have a value in 'Free shipping starts at:' under 'Handling' on the Shipping tab.
Essex Dog Supplies
Yes, but I do want to offer free delivery after spending £39 but not show the reamining amount left to spend before qualifying
Dave L
OK, this is easily accomplished and have a couple of options but it does assume you have a carrier already set up to cater for your existing shipping fees up to £39. Set your 'Free delivery starts at' value to 0 Option 1 In the price range for your carrier, add an additional price range for £39 to £10,000 (or other high value to capture the highest potential sale on your site). In Fees by carrier on the shipping tab set the fees for that price range to £0.00 You will now have free shipping for £39 and over without the 'remaining amount' message showing up. Option 2 Set your existing carrier out of range behaviour to 'disable carrier' Set up a new carrier and assign the appropriate zones for delivery. Set your new carrier out of range behaviour to 'disable carrier' Create a price range for the carrier of £39 - £10,000 (or other high value to capture the highest potential sale on your site). In Fees by carrier on the shipping tab set the fees for the new carrier to £0.00 Now when sales are under £39 carrier 1 will applied with carrier 2 disabled. When sale is above £39 carrier 1 will be disabled and carrier 2 will be enabled. The 'remaining amount' message does not appear.
