ERROR: Invalid address layoutDuplicate entry '0' for key 'PRIMARY'

Trying to add ICELAND as a country in my back office.

I pick no zip code needed and the last 3 tick boxes to negative.

I get this error when I save.

Invalid address layoutDuplicate entry '0' for key 'PRIMARY'

Anybody have any idea what it actually means without me having to go fishing around in PhpMyAdmin to find out what it relates to?

It seems a little abstract to me....

Ok that one I had the same error, the cause seems to be that there is no country identifier in the form, which makes the format verification, which is based on the fact that is has an id_country variable, fail.

I don't have the problem on a 1.4.4.1, but on a later version (1.4.7).

I'm not certain of the cause, but it could come from the fact that you changed your county table (by removing some countries .. That's what I did on he site that is faulty).

Anyway, the only workaround I found is to manually add an empty country in the ps_country table for all countries you want to add. You can then edit those empty countries to you liking without error.

The cause of the ERROR could be that the country you want to add already exists. You can check it by entering the country name or the ISO code.

I had the same error, and in my case plutus was right, the country existed.

You can try searching for it in the empty form box above the country name.

Same error in PS1.6. I tried to create a new country called XYZ which doesn't exist, same country code as name with +99 as phone prefix. I still have the error.

Same problem for me, did you get to the bottom of it makinero?
