Change cart position and css for Matrice theme

Hi,

 

I've just changed my theme to Matrice theme. My problem is that the shopping cart appears always on my shopping pages: home page, categories, products etc.

 

1) how can I remove it?

2) how can I edit its css? Their is some white text written on a light grey background and you can actually can't read it.
