SerjLeon
Hello! Hope you could help me to figure out what I missed. My goal: I have a site with a domain1 at hosting1, and now attempted to move the very same site to hosting2 with a new domain2. What I did: 1. Adjusted new domain2 to a new hosting2. 2. Downloaded public_html folder of the site from hosting1, uploaded it to hosting2; 3. Created new MySQL DB, new user, and accordingly updated the file settings.in.php; 4. Exported old MySQL DB from hosting1, and imported it into my new MySQL DB at hosting2. Current status: - now I can access PrestaShop admin panel of the site with a domain2 at new hosting2, but I can not see the site in action. Checked and doublechecked everything, and have no other option but to come here and ask your help. Thank you in advance!
PrestaSupport
Is your frontpage blank or is it some kind of error message there? Take a look in admin SEO & URL's -->URLs Setup,
SerjLeon
It is blank. It had errors before I finished transferring MySQL DB, and now is just blank. I couldn't find SEO&URL's in admin. Maybe it's coz I'm using 1.3.6. version?
CartExpert.net
Hello! If the page is blank you should turn on the error display to see what the errors are.
SerjLeon
Problem solved. Just in case somebody might have same troubles, the solution in my case was to change read/write permissions of the folders to 777 while connecting a database.
