Duplicating a store

I tried duplicating a store to save some work. I believe that everything is working well after a few minor changes, except one thing. When I view my shop, the Internet Explorer tab still has the name of my old store plus my new store.

 

1) Preferences > Contact Information > Shop Name is where I can change the last part of the name in the tab, but the old store name won't disapper. The IE tab reads "Oldstore - NewStore". So I can change it to "OldStore - BrandNewStore".

 

2) Has anyone tried duplicating a store, are there any other issues that I might not be noticing?

i think you just double check the info in your new store.

you might check the header template file for the theme you are using. perhaps the store you duplicated had made some customized changes, and placed the store name within the template itself.
