Do i have to create a blank module to insert a jquery banner ?

hello guys,

 

i would like to know if i have to create a blank module to insert a Jquery banner on my homepage

 

My demo website is here and the banner is here

 

I've already seen the post corresponding to an insert of a static jpg but i want it animated

 

The final site has to be like the jpg at this URL

 

I think i have to do that but i would like to be sure of it :

 

1 ) create a blank module

 

2 ) position this module in top of page

 

3 ) modify /themes/MY_THEME/header.tpl

 

4 ) Modify /themes/MY_THEME/css/global.css

 

I don't need to insert an admin in the admin modules, i will modify the code of the script

 

I've searched the forum but i only found tutos for static banner or "already made" banner module but i would prefer to create my own

 

My PS is a 1.4

Hello!

 

If you want to have the banner dinamycal you need to create a new module.

If you want it to be statical you just need to edit the header.tpl and global.css
