Sanook
Hela :-)When I try to create a new Database Backup from theTools/Database Backup menu,I get the following error message:Unable to create backup file "/usr/home/myname/domains/mydomain.com/public_html/admin/backups/1236740855-2777dffb.sql.gz"Do I need to change the permissions for the backups folder? Currently they are set to 755.I didn't read anything about this in the installation instructions.Best regards,Sanook

eddieuk
Glad I could help you hehe :-DAnyone know if it's ok to keep the 777 permissions? Been asking this for ages, don't hold your breath lol!I'm trying to install SVN version of PrestaShop and can't get my permissions to work. Set all the correct folders to 777 and yet it still appears red!So annoying! Have you ever had any problems with permissions when installing or upgrading? Have you ever had any problems with permissions when installing or upgrading? :-) I had to change a couple of permission before I could install the software, yes. I haven't tried the SVN version yet. Normally this forum is quite helpful, but I didn't find any info about my little backup problem.Since no one else seemed to have this problem, I though I scr3wed up my shop already.I have no idea whether it's dangerous or not to put this 777 hehe.Let's see if we are lucky enough to get some smart person to answer our questions :-DGood luck with the SVN Eddie
