Font for PDF invoice doesn't appear in BO

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I had Prestashop 1.4.4.1 version before, and for my language I was using Verdana font for PDF invoice. But now I have 1.4.6.2 versions, and I can't even choose Verdana font in Back Office. I tried to install this font once again, but still it does not appear in BO, So I can't choose it, and my PDF invoice doesn't has my language letters.

Any help would be appreciated:)

Tkanks:)

What do you mean by code page? Encoding for PDF invoice? I should use cp 1257 with this verdana font. I got it form Prestashop forums, someone put it to download. The thing is, that on older version 1.4.4.1 it was working perfectly, but on 1.4.6.2. this font doesn't even appear on BO, so I can't choose it.

But I don't think that it's license issue, cause 3 days ago I was using it.

I just need this font appear in my BO.

Yes encoding (Code Page which is the meaning of the acronym cp in encoding name (an old MS convention)).

cp1257 exists in my Prestashops. Choose this cp1257 and Helvitica, that should to.

iso name represent international standardized encoding, iso-8859-13 is I guess the almost perfect equivalent to cp1257.

The verdana font you grabbed from the forum was I guess from previous version of FPDF, somebody used the makefont to build the Verdana. Refer to the documentation of FPDF for building your own font file if you can't live without Verdana. But get ready to do that every now and on ...

I recommend you find a off-the-shell suitable encoding/font for pdf from the BO.

The OP's request was perfectly clear - how to get the font that he already has as a file in the fonts folder, to show up in the BO - Orders - PDF.

Why did you suggest him to build his own font, if he already has it ??

Why did you suggest him to use the encoding that he already used, and the font that obviously didn't do the job for him??

Don't get me wrong, but if the people who don't actually read questions or don't know answers, refrain themselves from answering, searching for solutions would be way more efficient.
