shop is different by choosing other language

i configured the shop the way i always wanted to have http://booking.superbike-coach.com/index.php?&id_lang=1

 

i just started to translate 2 services in a other language and figured that the shop seems to change completely to a previous version http://booking.superbike-coach.com/index.php?&id_lang=4

 

just go on the start page and click the us flag (which is the way the shop has to be) and then the german flag.

Hi superbikecoach,

This is due to the fact that the intro text you've written yourself must be translated manually in your Back Office under Modules > Home Text Editor. Next to the text window, click on the flag of the language you would like to translate into, and then add the translated text there.

may be i have to clear the shop cache (if yes, how does that work again)?

Hi superbikecoach,

To clear the smarty cache, access your site via FTP and delete everything EXCEPT index.php in the tools/smarty/cache and tools/smarty/compile directories. Additionally, in your Back Office under Preferences > Performance, please enable Force Compile to ensure that you are always seeing the most up-to-date version of your site.
