starsec
Hello, I have the registration module installed and in the past when a member would sign up it would go to a page that said " thanks for joining, we'll be in touch.." now, after they register it just reverts back to the page to sign up! It's confusing customers.. I love prestastore but, this is one of many issues ive had since updating to version 1.4.5.1 which is frustrating .. i just need a system that works.. i hope someone can help, i appreciate it
phrasespot
I have the registration module installed Is this a third party module? in the past when a member would sign up it would go to a page that said " thanks for joining, we'll be in touch.." now, after they register it just reverts back to the page to sign up 1.4.5.1, by default, redirects to "my account" page after successful signup. The problem you are having may be due to a custom theme. Is this the same website mentioned in your other posts? Let me know I'll have a look. starsec
aha.. yes its a third party module. The thing is, once some someone registeres they cannot access the site until I approve. The same module, in the past, had a landing page thanking them for registereing. For some reason it now does not redirect to this page rather, it goes back to the sign up page.. The module is called 'Customer Registration'
phrasespot
The module is called 'Customer Registration' I am not familiar with the module. Possibly you are having the problem due to a change done in 1.4.5.1. See if there is an update for the module. In any case, the developer of the module is the best bet, if can be reached. If you cannot reach the developer, and the module is licensed under an open source license post again and I'll see what I can do.
