jennybeaumont
Hi! I am currently running an online shop using Prestashop v 1.4.3, which I would like to update. Before doing so, I decided to install a copy locally using MAMP (mac). I remember trying to do this before and running into trouble. So here I am again, though this time I'm very determined! The problem is that the frontend of the website does not display. At all. Nada. However, I am able to access the backoffice perfectly. I have toyed with various configurations such as turning off URL rewriting, but to no avail. My frontend pages are blank. Again, online the shop runs fine, it's locally that I'm having trouble. I've searched around a bit, but it seems like other people are mostly having trouble with the admin not showing up, which is not a problem for me. Any ideas? Thanks! -jennyb
jennybeaumont
I was able to work it out. By (finally) turning on display_errors in the config file, I was able to see that MAMP's memory allocation wasn't enough. Bumped it up to 256Mo, restarted MAMP, and I'm good to go
