Mail alerts dependant on customisation

Hello everybody. I'm not an absolutely new member even though it does say this is my first post. I seem to have misplaced my login details and am not on my home PC and wanted to get this out there as soon as possible really.

 

I have a gifts business and am using Prestashop as my E-Commerce solution. I am wanting to introduce an engraving service to my products which are mainly pewter or stainless steel. I know I can do this and am happy with that part, however I am trying to make the order process as automated as possible. I currently have Mail Alerts set up so that I receive an email every time an order is made. Does anyone know of anything out there that would do a similar mail alert but dependant on whether somebody has ordered engraving, so that I can send an automated message to our engraver, cutting out the middle man so to speak.

 

If anybody knows of anything or can suggest any modifications, I'd be really grateful. Thank you.

You can modify the mail alerts module to do that, you would have to check an order and see if any products had any engravings, and then send a second email to the engraver.
