I'm wondering how I can change the text "Pay with cash on delivery (COD)" and the one below it:

 

Which file should I modify?

Yes you can change that text. You can edit this in modules/cashondelivery/confirmation.tpl.

Thank you very much, Marty, it worked I have another question, please. I have the "bankwire" module: as soon as a customer made an order using that payment method, the system should send an email to "[email protected]" (it's not the customer's email, but an email which is used by a script). I suppose I have to add somewhere the PHP mail function, but.. where? on which file?

I'm not sure why you want to add a mail function. When an order is made you will get an email as long as you have installed the 'Mail Alerts' module.

You're right, thank you very much May I ask you my last question, please? Why when I modify something on the "/themes/prestashop/authentication.tpl" file (for example I remove the "First Name" label - it's just an example, without sense ), that field still appear on the registration page?

It may be your settings. Go to Preferences then Performance and make sure Force Compile is 'yes' and Cache is 'no'.
