polaije
Hi, I need to have my prestashop site installed locally before trying to upgrade Prestashop. What I did : 1) I took a copy of all www and copy it to my www local. 2) From prestashop backoffice I took a sql script of my BD 3) Locally I had Mysql installed with two database Presta1 and presta2 and I have restored my BD to presta2 (script does not create the database, just drops the tables). The BD user is root without any password. 4) I have modified the settings config file to have the correct BD, user and password. What happen after this : I can open the backoffice and display all my products after recreating a new password for prestashop. But when I try to display my front office I receive : Error establishing a database connection Strangly I do'nt receive this error when I use the other table Presta1. I have analysed the table ps_configuration to detect if I do'nt have any value with my remote site. Where can I have a look, log files or else, to detect what is going wrong ? Thanks in advance for your help. Jean-Marie
