PDF Invoice: add "sales tax" line.

I understand that I go to classes/PDF.php to edit the invoice file. However, what and where do I insert code to add "Sales Tax" on the line just after the Sub Total?

 

I would like the invoice to look like the following:

 

Sub Total:

Sales Tax:

Shipping:

Order Total:

 

I would prefer NOT have the tax summery on the bottom of the invoice - if possible. What code should I comment out to do this?

 

If I could get the answers to this post, I'm sure other U.S customers would appreciate it! Thank you & hoping for a response.
