Theme Compatability (1.4.6.2)

I have received different opinions/answers in relation to the compatibility of prestashop's new theme 1.5.

 

my question is does the new theme (1.5) work correctly with prestashop 1.4.6.2 ?

Reason i ask is because some people are saying it only works with prestashop version 1.4.5.1

 

Could some please shed some light.
