Linking PS Sites / Shops

I have two customers with PS shops.

 

Site 1 and Site 2

 

site 2 is sellings widgets.

 

site 1 has some of site 2's widgets for sale

 

A customer of site 1 clicks on a widget product sold on site 2 and purchases it

 

As the source of the sale was site 1, site 2 needs to pay a commision to site 1

 

Ideally, site 1 also needs to know that site 2 has sold a wiget and the customer came from site 1.

 

Can this be done?

Anything can be done, but PS doesn't have these capabilities built in, you would have to write a new module that will handle to post purchase tasks you require (update stock and log the transaction for commissions).
