replace color with a background image on block bar

Hi PS users,

 

I am beginning to love PS and this new 1.5 theme. Please can you help me change the background color to an image. I have marked the location in the attachment. Had no idea what to call it. I think it is block bar or something like it.

 

Please, if you can type what code to put in and the path. I am a noob.

I am also looking for to change the color of both the headers of the modules as the background of the page. I have read and searched a lot and most people agree to modify the CSS file, but whenever I touch that file, it shows me at the foot of online shop "Prestashop hacked" or something similar.

 

Indeed, how could you change the background of the shop that soft yellow?

 

Ah, I recommend you to use gif files in the images, so it does not kill white background with design and color of yellow

Hi to change the bacground of the sidebar blocks, you need to edit the global.css file

Open it, and find the line -

.block h4 

 

 

THen edit the background property to something like this

background: url("../img/YOUR-IMAGE.png") no-repeat scroll center top transparent;

you must place your image in the theme's /img/ folder
