tsc757
Well here I am thinking that if something works with prestashop v 1.4.4 then it should followup in the next versions..... but I shot myself in the kneecap cause it seems not. Is my only option to uninstall and reinstall? All of this because I cannot upload the dump.sql to myphpadmin and some modules work in explorer but not in firefox. thanks.....also is there anywhere you can download and older version cause in prestashop it keeps linking me to the latest stable version ? However, if you're willing to make the extra effort doing a clean reinstall is the best method. And between the two, definitely go with 1.4.4.1, there was a very important update between the two. -Mike

Mike Kranzler
Hi tsc, You can enable this in your php.ini file. If you do not have access to this, call your hosting provider and they should be able to handle it for you pretty easily. I hope this helps. -Mike
tsc757
Well uninstalled version 1.4.62 and installed 1.4.4.1, installed the template and tryied to upload the dump.sql file and this is what I get as an error message. The people from templatetunning refered me to templatehelp who then told me that I had the wrong version of prestatshop. Error SQL query: /*mysqldump.php version 1.4 *//* Table structure for table `ps_accessory` */ DROP TABLE IF EXISTS `ps_accessory` MySQL said: #1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '/*mysqldump.php version 1.4 */ /* Table structure for table `ps_accessory` *' at line

Mike Kranzler
Hi tsc, I'm a little confused... why would Template Tuning direct you to another site for help with their product? -Mike
tsc757
Hi tsc, I'm a little confused... why would Template Tuning direct you to another site for help with their product? -Mike Man I am as confused as you are if not more !!... I chated live with 3 different agents at templatetunning for them to finally have me write a ticket to template-help... and the last answer I got from them was a link to buy my template again with an install price/ or just the install price i mean. Mike Kranzler
From our perspective, that really doesn't make any sense, to be perfectly honest. While we tend to be cautious when it comes to providing technical support on another developer's product, we always take the lead on providing support on our own offerings. What did the Template Tuning agents say to you when they told you to try contacting template-help? Did they give a specific reason or even explain what the problem was? -Mike

tsc757
Hi tsc, I'm a little confused... why would Template Tuning direct you to another site for help with their product? -Mike They just told me that templatetunning is their design partners
Mike Kranzler
Well from that, it looks to me that template-help is their support page, and the best thing to do would be to submit a ticket through their system in order to get the proper assistance on your specific issue with their template. Unfortunately, that is going to be the best place for you to start, although if they continue to be of no help, please let me know and I'll try to set you up with a member of our support team. -Mike
tsc757
Thanks Mike. Ya it's the second ticket.... well the same ticket but for a second time that I send it since it didn't fix the problem. I sent them another email and they say they are looking into it. I will keep you posted,
