Group attributes vs Tags, What to chose?

Hello Everyone,

 

I need to create a prestashop for an art gallery.

 

How should I organize the subjects of my 3000 products: as tags or group attributes?

 

Each products have subjects but there is no formal structure of them. For instance there may 400 products about food, and 5 about coca-cola. When should i decide to create a sub-group, and when should i decide to tag? and why?

 

I have the same issue with artists: should I assign them as tags or should I create a group named "artist" and create attributes for every different artists??

 

Is there a way to have a direct URLfriendly link of all products with given tag(s)?
