Checkout on mobile devices: is this possible?

Hello there,

 

I'm about to start developing a prestashop site, using responsive design to ensure mobile and tablet devices are given a decentl shopping experience. I don't see this being a problem with the prestashop framework, but what I am wondering is whether the checkout process works fine on the majority of mobile devices; specifically smartphones and tablet computers. I should think that the one-page checkout would have more problems than the 'normal' 5 page option, due to the extra javascript required.

 

Now, I'm still using an ancient nokia phone, so I can't test this out with the inital prestashop install, but could anyone advise me on any pitfalls involved in the mobile prestashop checkout process?

ps. I note that a mobile app is being developed, but an app isn't what I'm after I'm afraid

Hi Dan,

I just did a test purchase on an iPhone 4s running iOS5 on a brand new install of PrestaShop v1.4.6.2, and no issues on my end .
