Help with Friendly URL

I am in the process of setting up the Friendly URL's for a number of categories. My problem is that I have paid links to my existing site where the friendly url's use an underscore between words, e.g. parking_sensors. Prestashop only allows a minus sign, e.g. parking-sensors, is there a way to change this so that I can keep all the external links which point to existing pages on the current site?

 

Hope someone can help as it is going to be a real pain to try and track down all those external links:-)

This may help.

 

mysql DB table "category_lang" for categorys and "product_lang" for products is where the names for the friendly url are saved.

 

I have not tested this but you may be able to just edit the db with phpmyAdmin

OK, thank you I will give it a try and see how it goes. Ideally however I would just like to be able to change the code to allow a "_" as well as the allowed "-" to separate my words.
