RegularJohn
Hey, I've been following a whole load of stuff on these forums for a long time and have found various threads on the subject but they are all now COMPLETELY obsolete. My question is: How do I position a module (in my case a JQuery based slideshow) into a CMS page or Category Header of my website? As I have said the files that are featured in the tutorials of the other threads have either been changed or (for the really old references) apparently amalgamated into new areas of the FTP files. So I'm looking for an answer (and any additional information on this subject) that works for Version 1.4.5.1 (that preferably does not involve plugin stuff). Thanks in advance (that is if anybody ever reads this)!

Carolina Custom Designs
My first thought is that you need to create a hook and then add that hook to your cms.tpl where you want the module to be. Then you will need to hook your module into your new custom hook. That should work. Hope that helps! Marty Shue
RegularJohn
Could you please elaborate on this? I don't really know what files I'm looking to edit and where in them. I keep on hearing 'PS_HOOK' referenced all over these things but no mention of where it's stored or where in the file to edit. I Have spent a long time on this and wouldn't be so intently watching this space if I thought I could do it on my own. Thanks in advance.
terry1983
You can not hook for aCMS page. In prestashop you just can hook with fix number hooks. All are list here http://www.daveegerton.com/prestashop-guides/Prestashop-Designers-Guide/core-modules-structure/hooks.html
