Dave Egerton
I have never used this in Prestashop but ecotax overall relates to "ecological tax reforms" which can vary from country to country. The ecotax option in Prestashop is to provide a way to record this tax as a product levelIn the case of Prestashop, I belive the default behavior is that you can say how much green tax applies to this product. So if in your country you have to pay 10.00 in green tax on a ipod nano, you would enter 10.00 into the ecotax field on the productIn the front office you will then see a line include 10,00 € for green tax as below233,10 € incl. tax259,00 € incl. tax(price reduced by 10 %)include 10,00 € for green taxSo basically, depending on local legislation, you can enter a value representing the tax you pay (this has no effect on uplifting selling price, its assumed the selling price has accounted for eco-tax). I do not know, what, if any reports are built in as standard within Prestashop that will tell you, based on sales, how much eco-tax you need to pay fro a given periodThat the best I can offer right now, unless anyone can provide additional information
