Why doesn't work PAYPAL ?

I got the following error message:

 

Please refer to logs:

• PayPal response:
  
• TIMESTAMP -> 2011-11-28T20:06:32Z
  
• L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10002
  
• L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Security error
  
• L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> Security header is not valid
  
• L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error
  
• PayPal returned error
  

What is the problem?? Please help !!!

Hi Genet,

 

Make sure you're connecting using the correct mode for PayPal.

 

If you're testing Paypal then the PayPal module should be set to use the Sandbox Mode.

I've installed a clean version of PS 1.4.6.2. Tried test orders after setting either 'Active' or 'Inactive' and got the same error. I've also ensured that the PayPal account has the proper profile setup, including the URL to validation.php and IPN selection. It would really help if someone from the PS Team would describe the root cause of this issue, and give some clear directions on how to address it (if it is a configuration matter). I've had success with PS versions 1.3.x , but this new version is a real challenge (getting PayPal and shipping to work).

 

Has anyone been able to solve this issue without messing with the core code?
