dirkschrama
I like to add products in specific subcategories. However, I like to use the subcategories as a filter. So on the main categorie I also like to see all the products. Main category: all 10 products Sub category 1: 3 products Sub category 2: 7 products How do I configure that? So on the main categorie I also like to see all the products. You can add each product to as many categories as you want when you are entering them into the catalog. Main category: all 10 products Sub category 1: 3 products Sub category 2: 7 products Add all 10 to Main, sub1 and sub2 categories For 3 check sub 1 category For 7 check sub 2 category
tino73
I would like to do the same thing but my problem is I have 260 categories, counting parent categories, subcategories and sub asubcategories with 17.000+ products. Is there any module or tweak that would let me display all subcategories products on the parent category?... Thank you for the help.
phrasespot
Do it directly on the DB, (take a backup first). The table you want to insert the records are PREFIX_category_product. You can pickup the category ids from PREFIX_category and the product ids from PREFIX_product. There may be a module, I am not aware of one.
