change value product per page

i want to set product per page from 10 " default" to 30 ...I make changes to the settings " product per page" @ Back Office Preferences Products , and change the value " Product per page : " from 10 to 30 => save it ,

 

but the changes do not affect anything, the product is visible only 10 not 30 .

 

theres i have to do & dont affect anything

1. delete cache

2. cek dbase PS_Configuration -->> ps_products_per_page , and the value is 30

 

does Anyone ever experienced something similar? ..how to solve

Fyi , i use prestashop 1.4.5.1 and default theme from prestashop...
