I have created a design & have coded it to xhtml & css 2.1 but I have no idea how to cut it up to put into my shop. SpringDay.com Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 My best advise for a first time attempt at building a theme for ANY new software is to start slow. Do a simple modification of the default theme, then progressively add/delete/change more and more items. This will get you familier with how things work, where style is referenced, and give you some tricks to work with when you do your first full on UNIQUE theme.If you have something that is beyond simple and you want it done ASAP, PAY SOMEONE TO DO IT. There are plenty of folks right here in this forum capable of handling anything you may throw at them. They will get it done faster and, in the long run, save you time and frustration.
