Jimbo50
I cannot access the login panel to enable me to get onto the BO of one of my sites. I was using it last night, updated 1 product and closed down. I can access the website without any problem and the updated product is on it. This morning when I tried to get in to the admin screen it goes directly to a blank black screen, see picture AMH screen 1. What I shoulld get is the other picture AMH-Tarty (this is the admin login from my other site) so that I can input my login details. Anybody with any ideas would be appreciated. Jimbo50
cd2500 Thanks for your prompt reply, sorry for not getting back I was out doggie walking. Not sure what you mean about "fronted shop", I can update my site but I am a user not a prog/developer. The only thing I did prior to this problem was to add a product in the normal way, product appeared on the website without any problem.
guest*
So you can see your shop on front office, but cannot login on back office, right ?

guest*
You have a PM on how to reset your password.
Jimbo50
cd2500 Many thanks for your suggestion however I am not confident to play about in the backend. I don’t know if this would solve the problem anyway. As I said at the beginning I am not even getting a login screen to have an option of entering a password. A bit more research from me I think!! Cheers Jimbo
guest*
My solution ist nothing for the backend, but how to reset your password at all on the Database. You also can send you a new password if you have your e-mail configured at installation steps. If not, so the only possibility to log-in ist resetting the pasword on database level. Jimbo50
cd2500 Thanks for coming back again. Sorry I have not got back to you sooner but for some reason I was frozen out of the Forum, my password was not being recognised even though I did not make any changes to my details. It hs taken some time for PS to come back to me to allow me to re-enter my (same) details. Back to the problem, as I said at the beginning I am a user and not a developer or programmer so a lot of the technical stuff is over my head. I can update things in the BO, add pictures, text etc but anything more than that and I do not want to bring everything down!! I can get into Filezilla and look at files but I do not know 1) What I am looking for and 2) If I did I wouldn't know or be confident enough to change something. Is the Database somewhere in my Filezilla file? I do not know if it is the right place but I put a request into Bug Tracker, PSCFI-4310, with all my details but as yet there is no allocation or response to this. I look forward to any suggestions that I can work with, many thanks again. Jimbo
kbrmin
Not sure if this is related problem, but yesterday I turned on the SSL in prestashop back office, and now I cannot log into my back office. It redirects and wants me to log in. I know I saw this addressed somewhere n the forum but can't find it again.

guest*
@jimbo. No the solution is for phpMyAdmin. If you don't know this, so don't touch it. Please ask somebody able to make queries on DB and phpMy Admin.
Jimbo50
cd2500, Thanks again for your advice, I have no intention of touching anything on the dark side!! Have spoken to 123Reg, my hosting company, and they were very helpful but told me I need someone who is a "PHP [spam-filter]" to look at it. I am trying to find someone local (Scotland) as I prefer a face to face with developers as I have been ripped off severely in the past. I live in hope that someone local will read this and hopefully help me with my problem. Many thanks again Jimbo
Jimbo50
Not a lot has happened on this subject since last time. There is still no response from the bug tracker. I am waiting on someone local (40 miles) to come back to me but that was three weeks ago. I did notice something today though, when I went to my login page, which is usually black (see the thumbnail at entry #1) it showed a login box in normal type but not like the usual login. I input my details and tried to logon but it went back to the black screen. I then tried to do a Print Preview of that screen and up came the Back Office screen in preview!! I got a bit excited but couldn’t get on to the Back Office, back to the black screen. I noticed an icon at the bottom left of my black screen, a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark and the words “Done, but with errors on page” and when I double clicked this I got a Windows Explorer box with the following message on it: “Message: Can't move focus to the control because it is invisible, not enabled, or of a type that does not accept the focus. Login.php Line: 23 Code: 0 Char: 39 URI: http://amhamiltonhandmadekilts.co.uk/new/admin23/login.php” I have attached a screen shot showing this box. If I click the box “Copy error details” I get some additional text: “Webpage error details User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/4.0; GTB7.2; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; OfficeLiveConnector.1.5; OfficeLivePatch.1.3; .NET4.0C; AskTB5.4) Timestamp: Thu, 2 Feb 2012 15:27:34 UTC” Does any of this ring any bells or make sense to anyone as to what’s happened? Any reply will be gratefully received.
guest*
It seems that your login was hacked. Which version are you using ? If it is 1.4.x till 1.4.4.0 did you patched it ? There was a security lack on these versions. Somebody else having admin rights to BO or FTP, with possibility to make changes on files/database ? Jimbo50
cd2500 Thanks for coming back again, the version I am using is V1.3.3.0, I will be upgraded once I get someone to sort out my other probs. I had a bad split with my previous developer/builder and I would not like to think that he could get into the BO or FTP; passwords were changed at the time but is there a back door?? The site had been running for 7 or 8 months after the split without any problem and I do have another site he was involved with running that would appear to be okay. guest*
I send you a hack where you can reset you password to get log-in. Pleas keep it save and do not post in the forum. Otherwiese is a risk. After getting login, please change again all your passwords. DB, FTP. The best is to move to another provider, so your developer will (if he changed something ?) not access anymore.
